This week the Construction Enquirer reported on construction companies trying to hire staff at their fastest rate for more than a decade, but many vacancies are going unfilled due to lack of skilled workers in the sector. It was also reported that Mayor Andy Street has announced that thousands of young workers in the Black Country will be given half price bus and tram travel. This is to encourage young workers to pursue their careers without the concern of travel costs.
