Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI)

At voestalpine Metsec, continuous investment in independent performance testing and quality assurance ensures our construction solutions remain at the forefront of the industry. We are committed to presenting technical data and product information in a clear, accurate, and accessible way giving specifiers, installers, and end users confidence in the reliability and suitability of our systems.

This commitment is why Metsec was among the first to adopt the Code for Construction Product Information (CCPI), a standard introduced by the Construction Products Association in response to Dame Judith Hackitt’s review of Building Regulations and Fire Safety following the Grenfell Tower tragedy.

As part of a company-wide investment in systems and resources, Metsec has achieved CCPI Assessment for several of its product ranges, including the subset from our Dry Lining Division.

Gary Dixon, Alan Harris and Dame Judith Hackitt

The CCPI sets out to improve how construction product information is communicated, ensuring it is clear, accurate, and trustworthy with building safety as the top priority. Assessment is carried out by independent assessors from Construction Product Information Ltd. and applies to specific products and systems rather than entire companies or brands.

To support this, Metsec has implemented a robust internal review process across all divisions. This ensures that all product messaging is based on verified data and presented in a way that is easy to understand and readily accessible to its intended audience.
