Dry Lining

The voestalpine Metsec Dry Lining division manufactures and supplies of light gauge, non-load bearing, cold-rolled formed metal products for use in partitioning, dry lining and ceiling systems.

Backed by extensive research and development, all voestalpine Metsec dry lining systems conform to the latest British and European standards including fire safety and acoustic performance regulations. Systems are fully and independently tested in UKAS accredited laboratories with proprietary gypsum products providing reassurance that products can be specified to meet statutory requirements.


Offering high volume advanced manufacturing techniques, voestalpine Metsec supplies its own strategic partners and a network of major distributors, providing ‘white label’ materials.

Supporting literature available for specification includes:

  • Fire data – usually to BS476 Part 22:1987
  • Acoustic data to BS EN ISO 717-1: 1997 or BS EN ISO 140-3:1995
  • Rigidity to Duty Ratings tested to BS5234:1992 Part 1 and 2
  • Sustainability and qualifying points for BREEAM also available on request
