Metsec plc – Purlin Division supplied light gauge galvanised steel zed purlins on the new £2.6 million Information and Communication Technology Learning Centre (ICT) at the nationally renowned Portland College for the Disabled.

The complex shape of the two storey building in woodland on the outskirts of Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, has more than half a dozen different roof shapes and set outs of varying lengths, dimensions, tapers, pitches and hip ends, requiring a single span purlin layout.
