Closed Profiles

" Closed profiles are distinguished by the minimal gap between the two extreme edges of the strip without a permanent connection being made. These types of profiles are more complex in their design and generally bespoke to the customers requirements. "

These sections can be pre pierced with a high degree of accuracy and due to their closed profile shape have high strength to weight ratio.

Closed profiles are used within most market places but are more often seen within the Fencing, Display Equipment, Marine, Aerospace, Defence, Energy and Food Processing markets.

CRF's experience in tooling design and manufacture allow us to produce the most complex closed profiles with clean and crisp bends at all stages of the forming process.

Roll formed sections are manufactured to customer specifications. They are designed and engineered working closely with the customer to achieve the required tolerances and features.

CRF can supply sections within the following range:

Thickness: between 0.4 mm and 10 mm
Strip width: from 50 mm up to 1000 mm
Steel grades: up to 1200 N / mm2 ultimate strength
