
The new £2 million, 2 storey private school was deigned to provide 3,700 m² of space to students and staff.
The construction programme called for the completion of the building in just 52 weeks and so build speed was a major factor in selecting Metsec's SFS system for the
Old Hall School.
All SFS sections were designed, manufactured and delivered in the required lengths to be site assembled using self-drilling screw fasteners. This enabled the 2,000 m² of SFS infill to be installed in the concrete in just 12 weeks by approved Metsec installers. This was then clad Cedar boarding, brick and render, the quick SFS installation helped achieve an early dry envelope enabling the fee paying school to open on schedule for the new academic year.
