Metsec SFS was specified to provide a fast dry envelope to the Garrett Anderson Treatment Centre which,
at £26 million and 7,500 m², was the largest development at Ipswich Hospital in 30 years. The new 3 storey building provides A & E, critical care and day surgery facilities for patients in the Ipswich area and was completed in an 89 week construction programme during which time it took approved installer BR Hodgson just 8 weeks to install 3,000 m² SFS infill into the hot rolled steel frame.

This was then clad in terracotta, brickwork, steel cladding and Sto render to provide an attractive and durable façade to the building
