The new £23 million purpose built teaching and sports facility was designed to provide 14,500 m² of high quality teaching space at the Specialist School. During a 114 week construction programme it took approved Metsec installers just 16 weeks to install 1,150 m² of SFS infill into the hot rolled steel and concrete frames. This was then clad using brickwork, composite cladding, curtain walling and glazing.

Metsec's SFS site fixed, light gauge, galvanised steel framing was specified as infill walling for the Caludon Castle Business and Enterprise Specialist School on the grounds of build speed and all-dry construction.
